Clinical and Research Experience

Nancy is the EI research associate with the Canadian Early Intervention Research Project. As a practitioner, she provides behavioural consultation services, designing and implementing individualized behavioural modification programs for children exhibiting internalizing and externalizing problems and DD. At Concordia University, Nancy was a research assistant for the Centre for the Arts in Human Development conducting research with adults with diverse DD and for the Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance (CSLP) exploring early literacy for at-risk children. Nancy was awarded a doctoral scholarship from the Fonds Québécois de la Recherche sur la Société et la Culture examining the effects of EI services on the social functioning of children with DD.
